urban kitchen in Georgetown

A builder-grade kitchen was no longer up to the task in this client's upscale Georgetown townhome. In one of many partnerships with Andrew Law Interior Design, Aggregate worked to customize the space for the client's cooking and entertaining needs.

Because storage space was a priority, Aggregate worked closely with Wood-Mode Cabinetry to customize the shelving and drawer space to accommodate the client's kitchenware. Special- order walnut detailing on the ivory cabinetry, a custom range hood, a stainless steel apron-front sink basin, and Calcutta gold marble countertops add a modern touch to the classic design. Furnishings provided by Andrew Law Interior Design, including a Eero Saarinen Tulip table with a walnut top and a contemporary botanical fabric for the roman shade, keep the space feeling current without eclipsing the traditional detailing consistent with the rest of the home.
